PETKIT Pura Cat Litter Box

I love this thing!!! I have an elderly cat that over the last year started to go outside the litterbox. So annoying. I tried changing litters, using an open top box, puppy pads, sprays, etc. to no avail. I decided to try using this box (without the top) and it worked! I can report that my cat is back to going inside the box and does not seem to be frightened by the raking motion/sound. I've even caught him staring at it while it does its racking thing. Have not experienced any problems with the rake getting stuck. Happy I found a solution for me and my cat and a great price!

This is a good litter box for people who really hate cleaning litter boxes. It says the cat can use it for three weeks, but that really depends on your cat. I've gotten between one and three weeks before needing to change the litter. The optional cover is hard to secure to the box, so I leave it one when I change the litter. The two downsides to this is that changing the litter is cumbersome and the litter is expensive. I recommend buying a litter box odor control spray because the litter doesn't absorb odors.

My cat has a whole condo (bedroom) to herself where her toys, food, water, and litter box live. For the past 4 years I’d been doing things the traditional way with clumping litter. Scooping every day was monotonous and my work life got so hectic that anything I could do to cut down on chores was welcome.I read a lot of reviews for automatic litter boxes. I even had one of the very early models over 20 years ago and that one was the reason it took me so long to buy another. It used regular clumping litter, was messy, got stuck a lot, and stunk. This one is completely different though.My cat didn’t like the look of it at first. She wouldn’t use it for nearly a whole day. I know because of the cycle count on the machine. So when she finally did go, she really put it to the test. The rake mechanism levels the crystals perfectly every time. There’s zero odor. Replacing the entire tray is a 10 second job when it’s time to do a switch out. It’s very quiet. I can’t hear it running in my bedroom which is next to the cat’s condo.It’s a little larger than a regular little box and quite a bit higher, too. Small cats and especially kittens might have a difficult time getting into it. The high walls do keep litter getting kicked out to a minimum though.The only thing I’d recommend is buying a bag of crystal litter and sprinkling a bit more in there every few days since some does get scooped into the waste receptacle and you want to make sure there’s enough litter in there at all times.Overall very happy with the purchase. I hope it lasts.

A bit bigger than expected, the cats slowly took to it and put it to good use. Once set up, it's easy to use, functions well, didn't have any clumping issues.. yet. I do wish it was more than a cardboard bottom, but it works well.

Easy set up! Can be controlled by an app. Its a decent size but some of it is taken up by the disposal part of the tray. All in all I love it; however it can be costly if you have multiple cats using it. The tray is disposable which is convenient, but does add an extra expense. The extra expense it will cost to use is the only reason so far, that I can't give 5 stars.
